Have you ever been asked to do something and felt like you’re not meant to be doing it because you’re unqualified.
Felt like you shouldn’t be in that business meeting filled with the CEOs, CFOs, etc.
Felt like you are not qualified enough to raise this child the way you should?
Felt like you are not qualified to teach the youth ministry?
I know I have felt UNQUALIFIED for something that I was asked to do, well I put myself in the position to be chosen but when an opportunity came, I really felt unqualified.
How do you think Moses and Jeremiah felt? They both didn’t feel qualified for the tasks that God had asked them to fulfill.
God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called!
When God called Moses, Moses was a murderer, he couldn’t speak properly and had just escaped Egypt. God didn’t look at what He had done, what his flaws were and where he had been raised. He looked at the purpose over His life and used Him despite.
Moses said to the Lord , “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.” The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord ? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
Exodus 4:10-12 NIV
When God called Jeremiah, He was not of good speech and was young but God didn’t see his inability to speak well and his age as a expense to the kingdom but He used him despite those things because God had already predestined him for what He was going to do.
“Alas, Sovereign Lord ,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord .
Jeremiah 1:6-8 NIV
God didn’t use the high priests and those of a high social standing. He qualified those who were nobodies and those who were seen as incapable of completing the work of God because He had set them apart for that very work.
What your circumstances say has no place or standing compared to your purpose.
What has been purposed/ destined for you, God will qualify you for.
Don’t let your finances, fears, position, past, friends, thoughts, the enemy determine how qualified you are to fulfill your purpose.
You are qualified for what God says you’re qualified for!
In this year, I don’t want you to limit what the Limitless God has placed down on the inside of you. He won’t give you a purpose that He won’t live out with you. He’s not that kind of God.
Note: Don’t disqualify what God has qualified!
That’s a word right there.
