I don’t know about you but I sometimes fail to believe that I have the ability to fulfill a task mainly because of fear or embarrassment. So the other day I shared this with a couple of my friends and then did a bible study on it and this what I found on Believing in you….
Proverbs 3: 5-6
” Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him; and He will make straight your paths.”
If you and I can’t trust God with our dreams and the things we want to fulfill and do in our lives, then believing in ourselves and proclaiming that ” If I will it, I can do” is useless. Above believing in yourself is believing and trusting that God Can. Philippians 4:13 says that you can do all things but it doesn’t say by yourself it says through Christ who strengthens you. Before you can believe that you can do it – which you can- BELIEVE THAT CHRIST CAN THROUGH YOU.
“Fear not, for I am wity you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Remind yourself that believing in your ability to do or fulfill something is through Christ and His ability to make your paths straight. God says fear not, don’t be anxious or worry cause He is wtith you through it all. He will help you and assist you. He is for you, not against you.
” The heart of a man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”
Plan all you want to, dream all you want to dream but it is all God’s plan that prevails, but still believe in yourself that Gid will fulfill all he has for you at the right time. Don’t stop believing in you cause then the devil will attack that confidence inside that God is going to use for the work of His kingdom.
2 Timothy 1:7
” For God gave us a spirit not of fear but if power and love and self-control”
You can do it. He is with you, He gives you strength, power, love, grace, self- control not fear so believe in you, don’t doubt your ability to do all things through Christ.
This is a message for both you and I. So challenge yourself by reminding yourself that you can do all things through Christ, the next time you have a task that you constantly say “I am not sure if I can” or ” what if I am embarrassed” or ” maybe it won’t work out”…. Remind yourself of The Word.
