Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him. – Job 13:15 ( NKJV)
“Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him”…. There are often times, as God’s princesses, where we go through trials and so quickly we give up and I know I have done that many times as a young girl and even now, sometimes. I just want, both you and I, to remember that we shouldn’t blame God for the things we go through but instead praise God for the storm knowing that we will receive our double portion at the end.
The beauty about Job’s story is that the devil, before placing this storm in front of Job, had to go to God and present his case before the Lord and that’s exactly what he does with you. The Lord will never allow the devil to place a storm in your without bringing you out of it with a blessing.
It is time for us, as God’s princesses, to turn the tables on the devil who expects us to blame and curse God in the storm, it is time for us to have the ‘though he slay me, yet I will trust him’ mentality because though we get slay by life, yet we will trust God. God will bring you the double portion in the end of the struggle. Trust Him.
There is powerful purpose in the pain.
As I finish this blog, I want to challenge you to look at your situations, whatever they may be, with the eyes of Job. Eyes full of praise to God and eyes that look only at the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega, the One who I knows you, called you by name and set you apart for a holy purpose. Eyes of faith that know that their double portion is waiting for them at the end of the mountain. Instead of looking at the mountain and worrying, climb that montain and see what is ahead.
It is time to show that mountain and that devious devil who you belong to, you are God’s Anointed Princess.
